There is total silence in an empty living room at night. But shortly, prowler Avery Black makes his way toward the house, careful not to make a sound. Avery is carrying a little rucksack over her shoulder. Looking around the area, she spots items that she can pilfer, moving things from one place to another.

When she's finished inspecting the premises, she sneaks away from the chamber.

As Avery creeps into the shadowy bedroom via the open door, a few moments later, someone lights up a candle. When she opens her eyes, she sees Amari Anne in bed sleeping. Avery appears somewhat cautious, but he isn't entirely astonished. While scurrying around the room, Avery scoops up various objects and places them in her bag.

Amari begins to stir. Even Avery freezes for a time. When Amari remains silent, Avery allows himself to breathe a deep and silent sigh of relief and continues to slink around.

For a minute, she is relieved when she takes a careful stride, but it is short-lived, as she makes a noise seconds later. Avery stiffens as Amari swiftly raises herself up from her bed. Since she cannot see, Amari thinks Avery is her companion returning home. Avery pats the bed and motions for Amari to get in.

Avery anxiously gulps. How will she extricate herself from this one?
